Lady Raider Tennis Ends Day Three in College Station

Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team completed day three of competition at the ITA Southwest Regional Tournament in College Station, Texas, today.
In the consolation draw, Samantha van der Drift fell to Diana Espinal of UL-Monroe, 7-6, 6-2. Cigdem Duru topped Lauren Seamen of LSU, 6-0, 6-3 and then edged Hedvig Lofdahl of Tulane, 6-3, 6-2. Tara Browning defeated Loli Gomez of Houston, 2-6, 6-3, (10-5).
In doubles action, Erin Hunter and Katja Kovacic fell to Day and Ramy of UL-Lafayette, 8-5. Janet Durham and Anne Sophie Fankam cruised over Nicolic and Reimer of Houston, 8-0. Duru and van der Drift edged Aba Butain and Harris of North Texas, 8-6. No. 25 Browning and Wagley cruised over Baritot and Dizdar of Texas, 8-0.
