Szumanski Finishes Competition at ITA Regionals

LUBBOCK, Texas - Sophomore Bojan Szumanski was the first Red Raider to make it into the finals of the ITA Regionals. Szumanski competed at the Wilson/ITA Men's South Central Championship this weekend.
Szumanski faced Lars Porschke (Baylor) in the finals of the men's open singles. Poerschke defeated Szumanski 7-6, 6-4.
Szumanski has now qualified for the ITA National Indoor Championship. He will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., Nov. 4-7, to compete.
