Texas Tech To Host USTA Men's Pro Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletics Department announced today that the McLeod Tennis Center will serve as host to the 2002 Sprint USTA Men's $15,000 Pro Tournament of Lubbock that runs Oct. 14-20.
Singles qualifying begins at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 while doubles qualifying begins at noon on Monday, Oct. 14. Singles main draw play begins at 10 a.m. on Oct. 15 while doubles main draw play gets underway at 1 p.m. on the 15th.
The entry deadline is Sept. 30 and all questions concerning the tournament can be directed to Sandy Collins at (806) 438-8757.
