Tereschenko Leads Women's Tennis At TCU Invitational

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Texas Tech Women's Tennis Team had a successful run in the opening day of the TCU Invitational that was being held at the TCU Tennis Complex in Fort Worth.
Junior Irina Tereschenko won both her singles matches and was the only Tech player to go undefeated on the day. Tereschenko defeated Mounia Hassib of Sam Houston State in the first match and dropped Saber Pierce of TCU in the second.
The TCU Invitational is a "flighted" tournament and will continue play on Saturday morning.
