Red & Black Series To Begin On Friday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Baseball coach Larry Hays announced today the starting times for the Red & Black series that gets underway this week.
The annual Red & Black series will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 at Dan Law Field with the final game of the seven-game series getting underway at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The Red & Black series will utilize the efforts of all 41 players who are currently on the fall roster.
The series is open to the public.

Friday, Sept. 20; 3 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 22; 1 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 23; 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 24; 3 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 26; 3 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 27; 3 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 28; 10 a.m.
Starting Rotations
Friday (9/20) and Thursday: Jeff Karstens vs. Nathan Fouts
Saturday and Friday (9/27): Tanner McElroy vs. Cory Gerstner
Monday and Saturday: Steve Gooch vs. Dusty Buck
Tuesday: Randy Gattis vs. Steven Thomas
