Ryan Riddle Signs With Tech Baseball

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Baseball Coach Larry Hays announced today the signing of Midland High School infielder Ryan Riddle to a National Letter of Intent and he will join the Red Raiders for fall baseball camp that gets underway in September.
"We are excited about having Ryan join our program, said Texas Tech Head Coach Larry Hays. "Ryan comes from a very solid program at Midland High School and he is a West Texas product so anytime you can combine the two you are going to get good results."
Riddle, a recent graduate of Midland High School in Midland, Texas, earned second-team all-district honors last season after hitting .330 with 26 RBI, three home runs, one triple and nine doubles. Riddle played alongside current Red Raider Madison Edwards while at Midland High and was a member of the 2001 Class 5A State Championship team.
The signing of Riddle gives Texas Tech a total of 28 newcomers for the 2003 season.
