LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletics Department invites fans out for the Nov. 27 doubleheader with the volleyball team and the women's basketball team at the United Spirit Arena. The Red Raider volleyball team will take on Iowa State followed by the Lady Raiders' match-up with Valparaiso.
The evening will begin with the volleyball match at 5:30 p.m. The Red Raiders will be honoring the 2003 seniors after the match. The Lady Raider basketball team will then be in action 30 minutes after the conclusion of the volleyball match but not before 7:30 p.m. Prior to tip-off, the women's basketball team will unveil the 2002 NCAA Tournament banner. Fans who have purchased a women's basketball game ticket for Nov. 27 may use that ticket to attend the volleyball match. People who have purchased a volleyball ticket will receive free admission to the women's basketball game.
The night will also mark the annual Toys for Tots event. Anyone who brings an unwrapped toy to the game will have the opportunity to buy one general admission ticket and get one free. Members of the United States Marine Corps will be on hand to receive the toys.
Come out to the United Spirit Arena and support the Red Raiders, the Lady Raiders and Toys for Tots.
