LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team will conclude fall practice with the annual Red & Black Series that will run Thursday through Saturday at Dan Law Field.
The Red & Black Series will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. All three games will be played at Dan Law Field and admission is free.
Texas Tech will welcome back 17 lettermen from last year's squad that went 43-20-1 and finished second in the Big 12 and at the NCAA Regional in Fullerton, Calif. Head Coach Larry Hays and staff will sift through the talents of 27 newcomers who come to the program either as scholarship student-athletes or walk-ons.
The Red Raiders kicked off fall practice at an early date this year to accommodate renovations at Dan Law Field. For more information regarding the renovations at Dan Law Field, please contact Blayne Beal in the Texas Tech Media Relations office at 742-2770.
