LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech - Oklahoma State baseball game was postponed in the bottom of the seventh inning due to severe storms in the Lubbock metro area. The game will resume at 2 p.m. on Saturday and the original game set for Saturday afternoon will begin 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.
Texas Tech currently has a 1-0 lead in the game thanks to an RBI single by freshman Brent Fossum that plated Chad Landry in the bottom of the fifth inning. Senior hurler Brandon Roberson, the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for March 19, had tossed a two-shutout through seven innings and had retired 15 straight batters.
