LINCOLN, Neb. - Melissa McGehee and Ann Romjue tallied 10 kills each but it wasn't enough as the No. 2 Nebraska Cornhuskers swept the Red Raider 3-0 (30-21, 30-19, 30-14) in front of a soldout crowd of 4,105 at the Nebraska Coliseum on Sunday afternoon in Lincoln.
With the win, Texas Tech falls to 17-12 on the season while Nebraska improves to 25-1 and 18-0 in the league.
Texas Tech will play its final home match of the season on Wednesday night against the Baylor Bears at the United Spirit Arena. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
