LUBBOCK, Texas - In anticipation of inclement weather over the weekend, the Texas Tech baseball team will open the 2001 season against Howard at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Texas Tech and Howard will play in a seven inning doubleheader on Friday and will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Depending on the weather situation, Tech and Howard could play a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon which would cancel any games on Sunday.
