FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Derrick Davenport scored 24 points and Greedy Daniels added 20, leading Texas Christian to a 92-78 victory over Texas Tech on Thursday night.
Myron Anthony scored 15 points and Ryan Carroll added 12 for the Horned Frogs (9-3). Davenport had 15 rebounds and Bingo Merriex had 10 rebounds.
Andy Ellis led Texas Tech (5-5) with 23 points. Cliff Owens scored 16 points, and Jamal Brown and Marcus Shropshire each scored 15.
Owens had 13 rebounds for Texas Tech, and Andre Emmett added eight.
TCU shot 44.8 percent from the field, and Texas tech shot 39.8 percent from the field.
