NORMAN, Okla. - The Texas Tech volleyball team earned their 22nd win of the season by demolishing the Oklahoma Sooners 15-4, 15-1, 15-1 on Saturday evening in Norman, Okla.
Texas Tech allowed the Sooners to score just five points in the match making it the most lopsided win for the Red Raiders this season. Senior Colleen Smith punched out 16 kills and five digs to lead the Texas Tech offensive attack. Sophomore Melissa McGehee finished with nine kills and 13 digs.
Texas Tech will travel to Boulder, Colo. on Wednesday to take on the Colorado Buffaloes. The match is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. (CT).
