Meet the Raiders Day Scheduled for Aug. 28

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletic Department announced today that the 1999 Meet the Raiders Day has been scheduled for Sat., Aug. 28, from 5-7 p.m. at Raider Alley on the Tech campus.
The event will not only feature the Red Raider football team, but also athletes from the volleyball, tennis, golf and cross country teams. The Tech cheerleaders, pom squad, Gunfire Kickline, Saddletramps, Masked Rider and Raider Red will be in attendance as well.
Various food vendors will be on hand at Raider Alley as well as Tech merchandise vendors.
