SOPHOMORE SEASON (2026):
Played in all 71 games, starting 65 of them at shortstop for the Red Raiders … hit .297 with six home runs and 37 RBI in her second season … stole 18 bases and walked 20 times … made several athletic plays from the shortstop position, finished the year with 66 putouts and 75 assists … got off to a hot start in her first game of the year, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and a home run against McNeese (2/5) … had back-to-back three-hit games against UC Riverside (2/22) and Abilene Christian (2/26) … against ACU she went 3-for-4 with seven RBI and a home run … went 2-for-3 against Alabama (6/1) including a crucial RBI double to give Tech an early lead … went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two doubles against Baylor (5/2).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2025)
Played and started in all 68 games her freshman season… was the only freshman at a power four school to start all of her teams games at the shortstop position… led the team with 14 doubles and hit .332 with 66 hits and 36 RBI while slugging .508… finished Big 12 play with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage… named to the All-Big 12 Freshmen Team and All-Big 12 Tournament Team… had a team-best 20 straight games of reaching base safely… finished the season with an amazing 3-for-4 performance against Texas (6/6) where she added three RBI… had a hit each of the final 10 games of the season… had 21 games with multiple hits… recorded the first Women’s College World Series home run in program history against UCLA (5/31)… went 3-for-3 with four RBI against Arizona State in the Big 12 Championship… went 4-for-4 with two RBI against Baylor (3/14).
HIGH SCHOOL
The 10th ranked infielder in the 2024 class according to Extra Inning… Was named the Co-Newcomer of the Year and District MVP three times… Also named to the All-Montgomery County First Team three times and was an All-Region and All-America nominee… Finished high school with a .602 batting average thanks to 223 hits while also stealing 131 bases and scoring 220 runs… Played travel ball for Hotshots National under coach Nathan Nelson… Was a four-time Academic All-District member and graded top 10% of her class for her work in the classroom.

Daughter to Wesley Toney and Amanda Simmons… sister to Paige… plans to major in Kinesiology.
