PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
PERSONAL
- Saw action in six events (5 stroke play/1 match play)
- Inserted into the team lineup three times, twice in the fall, which consisted of the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational (stroke play) and the Big 12 Match Play Tournament, in addition to being entered into the Big 12 Championships as an alternate for rounds three and four ... participated as an individual in the three other events
- Owned a 73.7 season scoring average over his first 14 collegiate rounds of golf
- Best performance was arguably at The Prestige-Individuals event, Feb. 17-19, at the Golf Club at Terra Lago in Indio, Calif., where he finished tied for fourth place in a field of 39 by shooting a single-round season-low 3-under-par 69 in the third round that led to a 54-hole season-low 1-over-par 217
- Placed tied for 17th in a field of 100 in the Red Raiders' regular-season finale, the Mountaineer Invitational, behind a 9-over-par 225 ... the effort catapulted him into being tabbed to the travel party for all three of Texas Tech's postseason tournaments, serving as an alternate for the Big 12 Championships, NCAA Urbana Regional and NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif. ... saw action in two rounds of the Big 12 Championships ... did not participate in either NCAA event
- Flew back to Ireland not long after arriving in Lubbock for his freshman year to compete at the Irish Open at Royal County Down; kicked of the event with a practice round with Irish professional golfer Padraig Harrington before firing a 36-hole even-par 142 to safely clear the cut line at the Irish Open ... finished 67th at 13-over-par (297) following a disappointing third round 10-over 81 before rebounding with a final round 3-over-par 74Â

PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- Is a product of the Made in Holywood Golf Academy in Ireland, which has operated at Roganstown in Swords since 2009, where Geoff Loughrey, a former assistant to Rory McIlroy's coach Michael Bannon, is the professional in charge
- Was playing at Royal Portrush Golf Club as early as 12 years old, which is on rotation to host one of golf's most premier events – The Open ChampionshipÂ
- 2022 was a breakthrough year, winning the Connacht U-18 Boys’ Open at Galway Golf Club and also the Ulster Boys’ Open at Ballyliffin Golf Club
- Stunned a top-class field by winning the Regional Qualifier for the 150th edition of The Open on June 20, 2022, fired a sensational final round 7-under-par 65 at County Louth Golf Club to progress to the final qualifying stage, where he ultimately fell short of qualifying for the most prestigious event in golf in Europe
- Winner of the 2023 Scottish Boys' Open Championship at Lundin Golf Club, Fife, Scotland (April 12-14) ... fired sub-par rounds on all four days to win the tournament 8-under-par 276 (70-70-67-69)
- Participated in the 2023 Junior Ryder Cup; was the lone Irish player on the team, and became just the fifth Irish-born player to compete in the event, following in the footsteps of his favorite golfer Rory McIlroy; went 3-0-1 for Team Europe, including a 4&2 singles win over American Will Hartmann using an astounding three eagles in the effort, which helped push Team Europe to an emphatic 20.5-9.5 win in Rome, Italy; earlier in the team competition, was paired with future teammate Connor Graham in foursomes play
- Had a seven-shot victory in the Flogas Irish Boys’ Amateur Open Championship at Ballybunion Golf Club (April 7, 2024)
- Teamed up with Hugh Foley, Jack Hearn and Matt McClean to create more history and land Ireland’s second-ever victory, and first since 2016, in the European Nations Team Championship at Sotogrande in Spain (April 21, 2024)
- Additional 2024 individual highlights included finishes at:Â Spanish International Amateur (4th), British Amateur (Final 64), European Nations/Sotogrande Cup (T-17th), Irish Amateur Close Championship (T-4th), Irish Open Amateur (T-9th), European Amateur (T-36th)
- Was part of the Ireland U-16 Boys’ High-Performance squad, then the U-18 equivalent, before ultimately the Men’s High-Performance setup
- Represented his country as part of the successful R&A Boys’ Home Internationals team and the GB&I Team in the Jacques Leglise Trophy
- Was ranked second in the European Golf Rankings (upon joining the Red Raiders) for the under-18 division
- Attended Belvedere College, a secondary school for boys in the heart of Dublin city
