Theo Hughes is in his first season as a Graduate Assistant with the Texas Tech basketball program after playing professional basketball overseas.

A Brentwood, England native, Hughes most recently played for the Caledonia Gladiators in the British SLB. Hughes played college basketball at Northern Colorado where he played in 89 career games for the Bears where he averaged 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 points for his career. A starter as a junior, he ranked second on the team by averaging 4.0 rebounds per game and averaged 3.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game as a senior.

Hughes played for Barking Abbey in London, England during his prep career and also played on Great Britain's U18 Division I team where he averaged 10 points and 8 rebounds per game.
