2024 SEASON (SUPER SENIOR)
Wrapped his career as Texas Tech’s most-consistent corner … limited to only nine games played - all starts - due to various injuries during the season … missed the season opener against Abilene Christian (8/31) as well as the first two games in Big 12 play against Arizona State (9/21) and Cincinnati (9/28) … opted out of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl matchup against Arkansas (12/27) … finished tied for eighth on the team with 32 tackles (29 solo) to go along with an interception and three pass breakups … had at least one tackle in all nine games played and finished with three or more stops in seven contests, all in Big 12 play … concluded his collegiate career with 161 tackles, including 72 during his two seasons as a Red Raider … had four interceptions in his career and two as a Red Raider … credited with 547 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus, the second-highest total of his career … ranked seventh on the team for defensive snaps and fifth among defensive backs … according to the publication, opponents targeted him 53 times with 31 of those resulting in a completion (58.5 percent) … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: made his season debut with one tackle at Washington State (9/7) … followed with two tackles and a pick-six in the victory over North Texas (9/14) … took an interception 44 yards into the end zone to give the Red Raiders a 31-7 lead early in the second quarter … pick-six started a stretch where the Red Raiders picked off North Texas quarterback Chandler Morris in three of four possessions … marked the first defensive touchdown of his career and the first pick-six by a Red Raider since Malik Dunlap against Tarleton State early in the 2023 season … missed the next two games due to injury, returning with five tackles and a pass breakup at Arizona (10/5) … credited with two pass breakups two weeks later against Baylor (10/19) to go along with three tackles … matched his season high with five tackles twice down the stretch at TCU (10/26) and against West Virginia (11/30) … in between, had four tackles at both Iowa State (11/2) and Oklahoma State (11/23) as well as three stops versus Colorado (11/9) … AWARDS AND HONORS: named to the preseason watch lists for the Reese’s Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Bowl.
2023 SEASON (SENIOR)
Key addition to the secondary, appearing in 12 games with eight starts during first season as a Red Raider … joined a secondary full of experience and immediately broke into the starting rotation due to a strong spring and preseason camp … missed only the Kansas State game due to injury … ranked seventh on the team and third among defensive backs with 40 tackles on the season … notched 3.5 tackles for a loss, which was second among defensive backs … made one interception overall and was the team leader with nine pass breakups … was the second-highest graded defensive player on the team, finishing at 78.7 overall by Pro Football Focus … only other Red Raider on the defensive side of the ball to grade higher was C.J. Baskerville at 79.4 overall … graded at 70.0 or better in three games and at 70.0 or better in coverage in four games … credited with 577 defensive snaps by PFF, which was ninth on the team and second among cornerbacks … according to PFF, opponents targeted him in coverage 58 times with only 27 completions, a .466 percentage that was the lowest on the team among defensive players targeted at least 10 times … utilized in 101 snaps on special teams as a regular member of the kickoff and punt return units … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: made his Red Raider debut with two tackles and a pass breakup at Wyoming (9/2) … one of his two stops went for a two-yard loss, the first of two-consecutive games to start the year with a TFL … followed with three tackles each of the next two weeks against Oregon (9/9) and Tarleton State (9/16) … forced Oregon into a field goal late in the fourth quarter with a key tackle for loss on third down … had only one tackle over his next four games, which came in the win over Houston (9/30) … combined for three pass breakups during that stretch with one at West Virginia (9/23) and two at Baylor (10/7) … saw an increased defensive load beginning in November with at least 50 snaps in all four games … recorded seven tackles to go along with a pass breakup in the win over TCU (11/2), which started a four-game stretch with a pass breakup to close the regular season … followed with four tackles each of the next two weeks at Kansas (11/11) and versus UCF (11/18) … set a new career high with 2.0 tackles for loss in the win over the Jayhawks with both coming on key fourth-down stops in the second quarter … played a season-high 76 defensive snaps in the regular-season finale at Texas (11/24), finishing with seven tackles and two pass breakups … received his highest grade of the season against the Longhorns, grading out at 80.5 overall by PFF … coverage skills received an 82.9 grade as well, a season high … matched his career high with nine tackles in the Radiant Technologies Independence Bowl versus Cal (12/16) … marked his most tackles since facing UNLV during his redshirt freshman season at Fresno State … SENIOR DECISION: elected to utilize an extra season of eligibility to return for the 2024 season.

2022 (JUNIOR): Appeared in eight games, missing the remainder to injury … started all eight games played at cornerback … recorded 35 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one interception and seven broken up passes … had a season-high eight tackles against Oregon State (Sept. 10) and at UConn (Oct. 1) … had one interception and a season-high three pass breakups against San Jose State (Oct. 15) … became the first Bulldog defensive back since 2017 to record a sack in a game, getting to the quarterback at UConn (Oct. 1) … had a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss against the Huskies … was a preseason second team All-MW selection by Phil Steele … 2021 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 13 games, and started in eight … had 24 tackles, 18 solo … added 1.0 tackle for loss at Wyoming (Oct. 16) … had a fumble recovery at then-No. 13 UCLA (Sept. 18) … had four broken up passes on the year … had a season-high four tackles on three occasions - Cal Poly (Sept. 11), UNLV (Sept. 24) and Nevada (Oct. 23) … part of a Bulldog defense who only allowed 20.5 points per game this season, while also holding two opponents scoreless. It was the first time since 2017 that a Fresno State team had multiple shutouts in a season … helped Fresno State to two wins over ranked opponents, both on the road. It was the first time Fresno State defeated two Top 25 opponents in a season for the first time since 2004, and the first time both wins came on the road in the 100 year history of the program … 2020 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Burlsworth Trophy nominee … started all six games as a corner for the ‘Dogs … led the team with 30 tackles … had 27 solo stops this season … added 1.0 TFL … had a forced fumble in the season opener against Hawai’i (Oct. 24) … had a career-best nine tackles at UNLV (Nov. 7) ... had an interception and returned it for 24 yards at Nevada (Dec. 5) … had four broken up passes … had at least two tackles in each game on the year … finished in the top 50 in tackles per game in the Mountain West … tied for fourth in the conference, averaging 0.83 passes defended per game … was the team’s Co-Defensive Skill Player of the Game for his efforts against Colorado State … selected as the Mountain West Freshman of the Week (fan vote) after his Hawai’i performance ... named to the Fall Academic All-Mountain West team … 2019 (FRESHMAN): redshirt season.
