2025-26 (Junior):
- Earned Consenus All-America, All-Big 12 First Team, Wooden Award Top 20 and Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Late-Season watchlist selection and four-time Big 12 Player of the Week this season
- Suffered a season-ending injury after tearing the ACL in his right knee at Arizona State on February 17
- At the time of his injury, Toppin was leading the nation with 234 made field goals and was in the top 10 nationally in scoring (21.8), rebounding (10.8) and double-doubles (16)
- Went off for 31 points and 13 rebounds at No. 1 Arizona to secure his ninth career game with a 30-plus point double-double and had 20 points, eight rebounds, four blocks, four assists and two steals against Arizona State before suffering his injury
- Season ended with him leading the Big 12 with his 10.8 rebounds per game, 16 double-doubles, and 4.20 offensive rebounds per game while ranking third in scoring

- Was named to the Big 12 Starting Five for the first time this season after he produced a season-high 35 points and 11 rebounds at No. 14 Illinois
- Missed the season opener with a lower body injury for his only missed game before the season-ending injury, going off for 31 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals in his junior season debut against Sam Houston… He returned for his junior season from a Consensus Second Team All-America season as a sophomore and had a slew of preseason honors leading into this season

2024-25 (Sophomore):
- Toppin led the Red Raiders with 18.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 19 double-doubles during his all-America and Big 12 Player of the Year season… He recorded a double-double in all four NCAA Tournament games and had a double-double in eight of the last 10 games of the season… Toppin scored a season-high 41 points and added 15 rebounds in a double-overtime win over Arizona State and finished the season scoring in double figures in a team high 28 games – including 15 straight to conclude the season… Within his 19 double-doubles, Toppin recorded three with 30-plus points including going for 32 points and 12 rebounds at Oklahoma State and producing 30 points and 14 rebounds in the home finale against Colorado… He also had seven double-doubles with 25-plus point performances… He had 20 points and 10 rebounds in the Sweet 16 win over Arkansas and then added 20 points and 11 rebounds against No. 1 Florida in the Elite 8 – averaging 19.3 points and 11.0 rebounds during the four NCAA Tournament games… Toppin recorded 48 blocked shots during the season, including a season-high five in the Sweet 16 win over Arkansas… The five blocks matched a career-high after he had four games with five blocks as a freshman… Toppin had 10 blocks in the four NCAA Tournament, the most for any player through four rounds and had three or more blocks in seven games during the season... He was second in the Big 12 with 3.24 offensive rebounds per game, including a season-high 12 offensive rebounds against Saint Joseph's and having six against Florida… Toppin finished the season shooting 246-for-444 (55.4 percent) with 10 games of 10 or more makes… He was 17-for-22 from the field in his 41-point game against Arizona State… Toppin ranked third in the Big 12 in scoring and rebounding while having the seventh most double-doubles in the nation… A sophomore from Dallas, Toppin has played in 69 games in his collegiate career and now has 1,047 points, 636 rebounds, 116 blocks and 31 double-doubles
PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- Earned 2023-24 Mountain West Freshman of the Year and All-Mountain West Second Team honors last season while playing for New Mexico
- Participated in the NBA Draft Combine before officially withdrew from the NBA Draft and signing with Texas Tech on May 28, 2024
- Was a starter in 36 games as a freshman where he averaged 12.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game
- Ranked No. 12 in ESPN's transfer rankings and was the third-best transfer still available.
- Was the top freshman in the nation by shooting 62.3 percent from the field and with 12 double-doubles
- Within Mountain West Conference play, Toppin averaged 12.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game for the Lobos who advanced to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Mountain West Tournament
- In the MWC Tournament championship game, provided a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win over San Diego State and would have 10 rebounds and six points in a loss to Clemson in the first round of the national tournament
- Led the Mountain West in rebounds, including 3.7 offensive rebounds per game and finished the season with 445 total points and 326 rebounds
- Scored a season/career high 27 points against Toledo after going 11-for-12 from the field and posted a double-double against San Diego State in the regular season with 17 points and 16 rebounds (nine offensive)
- Produced a 23-point, 13 rebound double-double against Air Force and would be named to the All-Mountain West Tournament Team after his performance against San Diego State in the championship game
