Zdrojewski named to USC Forward to Watch List

ST. LOUIS – Texas Tech fifth-year Taylor Zdrojewski has been named to the 2026 IWSOC/United Soccer Coaches Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Positional Players to Watch (Forwards) list the organization announced Monday.
A native of Celina, Zdrojewski enters her fifth season after a strong 2025 campaign that saw her score 16 total goals and tally 35 points. Both the goals and point totals are tied for the third-most in a single season in program history.
The 16-goal season earned Zdrojewski First Team All-Big 12 honors and Second Team All-Midwest Region honors.
Saving some of her best work for Big 12 play, Zdrojewski scored eight times in the Red Raiders 11 Big 12 matches and recorded seven game-winning goals, setting a new program record.
A two-time All-Big 12 postseason selection, Zdrojewski was named to the league's Preseason All-Big 12 team last week.
One of the nation's best pure goal scorers, Zdrojewski needs just four goals to become sixth Red Raider in program history to record 30 career goals. She enters the 2026 season just nine goals behind Ashleigh Wiliams (37) for fourth all-time and just 15 goals shy of Kristy Frantz for third.
The full 2026 Mac Hermann Award Watchlist will be unveiled on Wednesday (Aug. 12) prior to the start of the 2026 season. The MAC Hermann Trophy is presented annually to the Division-I National Players of the Year. This year's ceremony is Jan. 8, 2027 in St. Louis at the Missouri Athletic Club.
Zdrojewski and No. 23/19 Texas Tech open the 2026 season on Thursday (Aug. 13) at Hawaii. First touch is set for 9 p.m. (CT)/4 p.m. (HST).
