Red Raiders sign Kasidi Pickering

The All-American joins Texas Tech after three seasons at Oklahoma
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech softball announced the signing of outfielder Kasidi Pickering on Friday. The All-American returns to her home state of Texas after spending three seasons at Oklahoma.
Pickering comes in boasting a career batting overage of .384 and has 50 home runs and 169 RBI to her credit in 189 games played. She was an NFCA First Team All-American and All-SEC First Team in 2025 and named to the NFCA First Team All-Midwest Region this past season.
The rising senior has tons of postseason experience, helping the Sooners win the National Championship in 2024 as a freshman and was named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team for her efforts in the team's win. She hit a home run in each of the championship games against Texas in 2024 that propelled her team to the win.
Pickering was the No. 2 ranked transfer in the portal according to Softball America and she is widely known as one of the top hitters in the country who can hit for power, contact and has an excellent eye, drawing at least 40 walks in each of her last three seasons.
"Kasidi Pickering is one of those rare players that just leads a time to winning," said Gerry Glasco. "She is the ultimate warrior and competition and is just simply good at winning. She has tons of postseason experience and that is hard to find. She brings elite leadership and winning experience to our program. She will quickly become a fan favorite with her style of play and ability to make everyone around her a better player."
Pickering joins Bradi Gallaway, Jayden Heavener and Moriah Polar in Texas Tech's portal class.
