Red Raiders conclude season at NCAA Championships

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Texas Tech wrapped up its season Sunday at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, placing 29th overall.
The Red Raiders completed 54 holes of stroke play against the nation's top teams, led individually by Denisa Vodickova, who finished tied for 105th at 8-over 224 (73-76-75).
Lauren Zaretsky followed close behind in a tie for 110th at 9-over 225 after rounds of 74-76-75. Cameron Freund and Klara Hurtova each tied for 122nd at 11-over 227, with Freund carding rounds of 78-74-75 while Hurtova closed the championship with her best round of the week, a 2-over 74.
Maja Ambroziak rounded out the lineup in a tie for 140th at 15-over 231 (74-78-79).
Texas Tech qualified for the NCAA Championships after earning one of five advancing spots at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional earlier this month, marking the program's fifth NCAA Championship appearance in school history.
The 2025-26 season featured multiple highlights for the Red Raiders, including a team title at the Red Raider Invitational, Vodickova's individual victory at the MountainView Collegiate, and the program's return to the national championship field in Carlsbad.
