CORVALLIS, Ore. — No. 7 Texas Tech opened play at the NCAA Corvallis Regional on Monday at Trysting Tree Golf Club and sits tied for 10th place after the opening round.

Despite sitting tied for 10th, Texas Tech is just three shots outside the cut line entering Tuesday's second round, with No. 19 Charlotte and San Diego tied for fifth at 4-under 280.
Purdue leads the regional at 12-under 272, while No. 6 Arkansas and No. 17 Oklahoma are tied for second at 9-under. Host Oregon State sits fourth at 8-under.
