Jackie Lis earns Big 12 Player of the Week

Lis’s incredible week rewarded with Big 12 honor
LUBBOCK, Texas – Senior utility Jackie Lis was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Tuesday following a stellar performance at the plate for Texas Tech. Lis hit .818 with three home runs and reached safely in nine of her 10 plate appearances against Iowa State over the weekend.
Lis is the third Red Raider to win a Big 12 Player of the Week. The Newburgh, Indiana native also fielded a perfect 1.000 on the week and is now tied No. 7 among active players for home runs in a career. Lis has and already stored career and continues to add to it in her first season as a Red Raider.
