
Red Raiders head to Sunshine State

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Red Raiders are back out on the road again and headed to the Sunshine State to continue their fall season as they compete in the UNF Hidden Duals on Sept. 26-28.
Representing Texas Tech are Thiago Guglieri, Niksa Arsic, Felipe Pagnacco and Thomas Van Den Dooren, who will head to Jacksonville, Fla., to face players from teams like Tennessee, North Florida, Barry University and Mercer.
Last tournament in Waco, Van Den Dooren and Pagnacco each added singles wins in a strong start to the fall season. Van Den Dooren picked up a win against Jesse Gothelf of UTA, 6-4, 6-2, while Pagnacco advanced to his flight finals with wins over Baylor's Arman Zamani, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2, and UTSA's Ben Chetewy Ungar, 6-3, 3-2 (retired).
This will also mark the second tournament of the fall for Guglieri and Arsic as they hit the courts again this weekend. Last competition, Guglieri advanced to the quarterfinals in the back draw. Arsic also advanced to the round of 16 before falling to No. 106-ranked Duncan Chan of TCU. Both moved on to the quarterfinals in the main doubles draw as partners of the Midland Racquet Club Invitational.
The Red Raiders will begin the tournament on Friday at 1 p.m. CT and will continue competing over the weekend at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday and 7:30 a.m. CT on Sunday. Matches can be viewed on PlaySight for the duration of the tournament. The tournament results and draws can be found here.
