Team/Event Notes:

The Red Raiders debuted in Golfweek's 2025-26 Men's College Golf preseason rankings on Wednesday at No. 19.
Last time out, Texas Tech finished 10th at the 2025 NCAA Championships, its fourth Top 10 finish in the Greg Sands era and sixth in program history.
The Red Raiders lost two seniors from the 2025 NCAA Championship squad, Charlie DeLong and Calum Scott, to graduation, and added transfer Adam Bresnu, as well as freshmen Simon Hovdal and Brady McHenry, to their 2025-26 squad. Returning from last season include Luke D'Alise, Connor Graham, Ben Gregg, Price Hill, Sean Keeling, and Tim Wiedemeyer.
Graham returns from an offseason that included participating in The Open Championship, the Arnold Palmer Cup, and will have an additional prestigious amateur event to play in one week after the Red Raiders' tee of its season, being selected to compete at the 50th Walker Cup, Sept. 6-7.
Graham was also tabbed as one of 25 individuals for the Haskins Award preseason watch list.
Gregg and Wiedemeyer also played in some high-level amateur events during the offseason, most recently at the 125th United States Amateur Championships. Both qualified for the Round of 64 match play after starting among 312 players in stroke play. Wiedemeyer advanced as far as the Round of 32.
