
Texas Tech Announces Spring Wreck 'Em Tour Schedule

Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt and various head coaches will visit four cities in April and May
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt along with head football coach Matt Wells, head men's basketball coach Chris Beard, and various other head coaches will meet with fans from across the state this spring as part of the Wreck 'Em Tour hosted by the Red Raider Club.

Texas Tech will make four stops as part of the Wreck 'Em Tour, giving fans and donors a chance to hear from Hocutt, Wells and Beard as well as University and System leadership in Dallas (April 29), Houston (May 6), the Permian Basin (May 13) and San Antonio (May 21).

"We are excited to see so many of our great fans and supporters this spring," Hocutt said. "The impact of Raider Power is felt across the state of Texas. The Wreck 'Em Tour is our time to come together as a family and celebrate the Double T and the future of Texas Tech Athletics."

The Wreck 'Em Tour be open to the public with complimentary admission provided to all Red Raider Club members. There will be a $25 charge to any non-member, which will cover entry into the event as well as membership into the Red Raider Club for 2020.

In addition to the Wreck Em' Tour dates, the Red Raider Club will host a series of meetings throughout the state, featuring various athletics department administrators who will provide updates on the athletics department including information on engagement opportunities throughout the year. The series includes visits to Plainview, Dimmitt, Hobbs (N.M.), El Paso, Wichita Falls, Waco, the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, Abilene, and San Angelo beginning in April and concluding in June.
