GETTING STARTED
- This was the 96th meeting all-time between Texas Tech & Texas. Tech is now 29-67 against the Longhorns.
- This was the 1,310th game in Lady Raider basketball history. Tech is now 870-440.
- For the first time this season, the starting lineup was: Japreece Dean (G), Ryann Bowser (G), Ivonne Cook-Taylor (G), Zuri Sanders (F), and Leashja Grant (C). It was the first start of Sanders' career.
- Tech lost the opening tip and is now 5-11 when doing so.

RUNNIN' DOWN A DREAM
- After falling behind 7-0, the Lady Raiders stunned the Longhorns with a huge 16-0 run.
- The 16-0 run tied a season high for consecutive Lady Raider points (16-0 run to start the season opener against Niagara).
- During the run, the Lady Raiders went 6-6 from the field and held Texas scoreless for 3:45.
DEAN'S LIST
- Japreece Dean poured in 17 points on the night, marking her first double-digit scoring outing since the game at Oklahoma State on Feb. 7.
- Dean drained two consecutive threes to begin Tech's 16-0 run.
- Dean also registered five assists on the night, just two off her career high.
- In games against Texas this season, Dean has averaged 19 points and four assists. Texas was ranked in the nation's top 10 in both contests.
LET HER COOK(TAYLOR)!
- Ivonne CookTaylor scored 15 points on the night, marking the 10th time in the last 13 games she has registered at least 13 points.
- CookTaylor has now scored in double figures 18 times this season.

- The Lady Raiders will travel to Lawrence, Kan., to take on the Kansas Jayhawks, on Saturday. Tipoff inside Allen Fieldhouse is set for 7 p.m. The game will be televised on watchespn.com and the WatchESPN app.
