NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Kaylon Williams had 18 points, six rebounds and four assists, and No. 19 Oklahoma used a big first quarter to beat Texas Tech, 92-53, on Wednesday for the Sooners' 10th straight win in the series.
Oklahoma jumped out to a 12-6 lead and did not allow another point in the first quarter to build a 24-point lead. The 30 points were the most scored in a quarter by Oklahoma this season.
Ivonne CookTaylor led Texas Tech (10-8, 1-6) with 20 points but converted just 5 of 17 from the field. It was her seventh 20-plus game of the season. Japreece Dean added 13 for the Red Raiders.
Williams became the 31st player in Oklahoma history to score 1,000 career points.
Maddie Manning added 14 points for Oklahoma (13-4, 4-2 Big 12) and Gioya Carter had a season-high 13.
The Sooners held Texas Tech to 19-of-50 shooting (38 percent), forced 20 turnovers and set a season-high point total.
