Opening Statement
"Tough game. Obviously you can't start like we did, and you can't get beat to loose balls like we did. I thought we rallied there in the second half to give ourselves a chance. Too many plays added up throughout the game that put us in that situation."
On how the team was performing the first 35 minutes
"You know they're big and they're a good team. I think you've got to give Texas credit on making plays but I thought a lot of it was on us. Our lack of awareness, who was guarding us, what we wanted out of the possession, getting the ball with two hands, handling the ball, attacking the rim. I mean there was just a lot of things we just weren't doing offensively and obviously not making shots."
On what she was trying to set up on that final shot
"It's a play that we have for the end of game. We can get a two and there's two options for a three."
On what changed that allowed them to get back in the game
"We picked up full and put a little more pressure on the basketball. We were able to get our hands on some things and some turnovers. I think we forced three or four turnovers there at the end and did a good job of converting. Again, giving ourselves an opportunity to get back in the ball game."
