Opening Statement
"Big win for us and great team win. I thought we all had to contribute in some way to get it done. I thought our guards played really well; sharing the basketball and hitting open shots. They did a great job defensively and followed the game plan. Understanding what they wanted to do and taking it away."
On what she saw from her perimeter defense
"I think it started with good offensive execution and kept them out of transition for the most part. Took away transition threes, followed scout, and guarded their actions at half court really well. We switched when we needed to and switched up not flat with those shooters involved in it. We did a better job in communicating and recognizing actions."
On her team's offensive shooting
"I mean it's always more fun when the ball goes in. It's huge to winning and I just really liked how they shared it. There was probably only a couple of shots I didn't like. Just did a great job shooting it with confidence when they were open."

On what she saw defensively from Iowa State
"They started off face guarding me but I still tried to get open. I was still penetrating and finding my open shooters and they were knocking them down."
On eliminating Iowa State's 3-pointers
"Iowa state is a really good 3-point shooting team. That was our game plan all week, to get out to the shooters and not just run into the paint. So I think we did that well and reached with high hands. I just think we limited their three point shots."
