GETTING STARTED
- This was the 2nd meeting all-time between Texas Tech & Idaho. Tech is now 2-0 against the Vandals.
- This was the 1,290th game in Lady Raider basketball history. Tech is now 865-425.
- The Lady Raiders lost the opening tip and are now 3-0 when doing so.
- The starting lineup was: Japreece Dean (G), Rayven Brooks (G), Ivonne Cook-Taylor (G), Dayo Olabode (F), and Leashja Grant (C). It was Dean's first-career start.
- Dean had a career-high 23 points, including going 4-9 from long range. She had not hit a three this season, entering tonight.
- Texas Tech drained 12 threes tonight, which was a season high and just two off the school record.

- Improves the Lady Raiders to 6-1 this season.
- Improves Candi Whitaker to 26-42 at Texas Tech.

SEEING DOUBLE
- Texas Tech junior Ivonne Cook-Taylor recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. It's her first of the 2015-2016 season, but second of her career.
- CookTaylor shot 44% from the field, 50% from 3-point land, and 100% on free throws. As a team, Tech did not miss from the free-throw line. 11 of CookTaylor's points came in the third quarter, tying the school record for points in a quarter.
- Both CookTaylor and Japreece Dean scored 20+, marking the second time this season multiple Lady Raiders have put up at least 20 points.
PILING ON THE POINTS
- The Lady Raiders scored at least 70 points for the sixth time in seven games this season, and are now 5-1 when doing so.
- Texas Tech scored 20+ points in multiple quarters for the fifth time this season.
-Tech led Idaho 39-28 at half. Tech has led at halftime in every game this season.
- Tech now has five different players averaging double figures.
- Japreece Dean was the fifth different leading scorer for the Lady Raiders this season.
CRASHING THE BOARDS
-The Lady Raiders are now 6-0 when out-rebounding their opponent this season.
-Tech has recorded at least 40 rebounds in each game this season.
- Tech grabbed 18 offensive rebounds, staying true to its 16.2 per game average, which ranks second in the Big 12.
A HELPING HAND
- The Lady Raiders recorded 19 assists on 30 made baskets, their second-highest assist total this season.
- Three different Lady Raiders had at least three assists, led by Rayven Brooks, who had eight, which was a career high.
DE-FENSE
- Tech held the Vandals to 38.3% from the field. No opponent has eclipsed the 40% mark against Tech this season. Tech improves to 6-1 when having a higher shooting percentage than its opponent, as well as 6-1 when shooting above 40%.
- Tech, which already ranks near the top nationally in three-point percentage defense, held Idaho to just 9-31 (29%) shooting from three-point range. Idaho entered the night ranked third in the nation in 3-pointers made per game. (11.1).
- Texas Tech held Idaho to 12-29 shooting from the floor in the first half and 11-31 shooting from the floor in the second half. Idaho was 23-60 in the game, with a shooting percentage of 38.3%.
- The Lady Raiders only allowed Idaho to score 6 points in the first quarter, just two points above an opponent season low.
