GETTING STARTED
- This was the 46th meeting all-time between Texas Tech & TCU. Tech is now 40-6 against the Horned Frogs, losing five of the last six meetings.

DEAN DROPS 20 AGAIN
- Japreece Dean scored 22 points against TCU, marking the third time this season she has scored 20 or more, all coming in the last six games. She had 14 points in the first half, including hitting a buzzer-beating three to give Tech a 40-32 halftime lead.
GRANT GOES OFF
- Leashja Grant hit the 20-point barrier for the first time since the season opener tonight, scoring 20 points on 8-13 shooting. She also had nine rebounds, five of which came on the offensive end. This is the third time in the last four games she has scored at least 18 points.
A GAME OF RUNS
- Texas Tech started the second quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 32-24 lead, which would eventually balloon to 48-35, and then 54-39. From there, TCU had two separate runs of at least 10 points, in the midst of what was a 30-5 run overall. Tech had an 8-0 run to cut the lead to three late, before TCU scored six-straight points to finish the game.
