PILING ON THE POINTS

-The Lady Raiders grabbed 51 rebounds, including 21 of the offensive variety. It was the second 50-rebound performance of the season for Tech.
-The Lady Raiders are now 8-0 when out-rebounding their opponent this season.
-Tech is now 8-1 when recording more than 40 rebounds.
FANTASTIC FROSH
-Japreece Dean led the team in scoring, with 20 points. It was her second 20-point performance this season.
- Dean is now averaging 14.8 points per game in her four starts this season.
- Dean scored at least 10 points for the sixth time this season.
DE-FENSE
- The Lady Raiders tied a school record for fewest points allowed in a quarter, holding Grambling State to just four in the second quarter.
- During Tech's 17-0 second-quarter run (longest run of the season), it held Grambling State scoreless for nine minutes and nine seconds. (9:31 to 0:22).
- Tech held the Tigers to 35.6% from the field (only at Santa Clara has Tech given up more than 40%). Tech improves to 8-1 when having a higher shooting percentage than its opponent.
- Tech, which already ranks near the top nationally in three-point percentage defense, held Grambling State to just 4-19 (21.1%) shooting from long range.
- Tech only allowed 18 points to Grambling State in the first half. It was the first time allowing less than 20 points in a half since the win over Fordham (11/27).
