
Dojas, Soares Headed To ITA All-American Championships

Texas Tech's Hugo Dojas begins play on Monday in the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships.

TULSA, Okla. - Texas Tech's Hugo Dojas will begin play in the 2014 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships on Monday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
Dojas, a junior from Brazil, has been seeded 15th in the qualifying portion of the event. In all, 64 men have been selected to participate in qualifying.
Dojas will take on Jack Findel-Hawkins of North Florida at 9 a.m. CT at the Case Tennis Center.
Findel-Hawkins, the 2014 Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year, was 18-9 last season. Findel-Hawkins is coming off of a 4-0 effort at the Bedford Cup in Jacksonville, Fla.
Felipe Soares will team with Dojas on Tuesday to begin play in the doubles portion of qualifying at the All-American. Soares, who was originally slated to begin play in qualifying singles, got bumped into the main draw after selected from the alternates.
