TEXAS TECH ENDS THE 2014 SEASON IN ARLINGTON
Texas Tech will close out its 2014 season on Saturday afternoon when the Red Raiders take on the fifth-ranked Baylor Bears at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Kickoff has been set for 2:30 p.m. and tickets are available for purchase through Ticketmaster. Fans planning to attend the game are reminded that the NFL gag policy is in effect and more information can be found online at www.attstadium.com.
Saturday's game will be televised regionally on ABC with a reverse mirror on ESPN2, making it a full national broadcast. A reverse mirror means that fans that do not get the game on their local ABC affiliate will be able to watch on ESPN2. Mark Jones (Play-by-Play), Rod Gilmore (Analyst) and Jessica Mendoza (Sidelines) will have the call live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Fans will be able to tune to the radio broadcast from the Texas Tech Sports Network on one of 38 affiliates across the region. Brian Jensen returns to the broadcast booth as the play-by-play announcer for his 15th season and is joined by veteran John Harris who will be in his 32nd year of providing analysis. Chris Level rounds out the crew as the sideline reporter and is in his fifth season.
The Red Raiders enter the game fresh off a road win at Iowa State last weekend in Ames as Tech snapped a three-game losing skid with a 34-31 victory over the Cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium. Texas Tech trailed late in the game but got a go-ahead touchdown from senior Kenny Williams and a game-saving defensive stand to seal the win. Baylor enters Saturday's game following a 49-28 home win over Oklahoma State. The Bears improved to 9-1 on the season and are currently ranked fifth in the Associated Press poll and sixth by the coaches.

- Texas Tech leads the all-time series 36-35-1.
- Texas Tech and Baylor will be meeting at a neutral site for the sixth consecutive season. The Red Raiders and Bears moved their annual game to the DFW Metroplex for the first time in 2009. The first game was played at AT&T Stadium before moving to Cotton Bowl Stadium for a single game in 2010. The two teams have played annually at AT&T Stadium since 2011 and just recently announced a four-year extension that will keep the game in Arlington through 2018.
