NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
? Junior Pete Robertson picked up his team-leading third sack of the season on K-State's second offensive drive of the game. He followed up with another sack later in the drive that helped Tech get the ball back. Two sacks marks a career high for Robertson.
? Jakeem Grant scored the first points of the game for Texas Tech late in the first half when he caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Davis Webb. The TD cut the K-State lead to 17-7. Grant now has at least one TD reception in three straight games for the first time in his three-year career.
? Sophomore quarterback Davis Webb has now thrown at least one touchdown pass in 15 consecutive games to start his career (school record).
? Senior receiver Bradley Marquez has now caught at least one pass in 34 of 36 career games.
? Junior punter Taylor Symmank recorded a career-long of 61 yards... his previous career-long punt was 60 yards against TCU last season.
? Grant tied a career-high with two touchdown receptions hauling in a 19-yard pass from Webb in the fourth quarter with 11:10 to play cutting K-State's lead to 31-13... Grant first tallied two touchdown receptions as a sophomore against Arizona State in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.

Webb went 22-of-43 for 247 yards and two touchdown passes with a career-high four interceptions... it marked the most interceptions by a Red Raider quarterback since 2007 (Graham Harrell, vs. Colorado)... he posted multiple touchdown passes for the 12th time during his career while making his 11th career start... he now has 20 touchdown passes over his last six games dating back to last season... his 36 career passing touchdowns rank ninth in school history - two behind Billy Joe Tolliver (1985-88, 38 passing touchdowns).
? Senior linebacker Sam Eguavoen led the team with 10 tackles (all solo)... marks the third time during his career with double-figure tackles.
? Grant finished the game with seven receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns... it marks the fifth straight game this season that Grant has tallied at least six receptions.
TEAM NOTES
? Texas Tech faked a punt on its first offensive drive of the game and got a first down from punter Taylor Symmank. The last time Tech faked a punt was in the regular-season finale last year at Texas (resulted in a Ryan Erxleben touchdown).
? Texas Tech extended its consecutive game scoring streak to 212 game with the Davis Webb TD pass to Jakeem Grant in the second quarter. The streak ranks 13th nationally.
