Junior guard Amber Battle scored 26 points and 11 rebounds for her league-leading 4th double-double this season. It's the 10th time in Tech's 11 games that she's scored in double figures. She averaged 23.3 points and 7.7 rebounds during the World Vision Challenge this weekend.
SPEARS DOUBLE FIGURES
Redshirt freshman guard Minta Spears scored 11 points - all in the second half - for her seventh game in double figures this season. She was 4 of 7 from the field and 3 of 6 behind the arc in the second half.
BATTLE, HARRISON NAMED TO ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
Junior guard Amber Battle was named the tournament MVP for the World Vision Challenge while junior guard Audrisa Harrison was named to the All-Tournament Team. Battle averaged 23.3 points and 7.7 rebounds this weekend, turning in her fourth double-double this season. Harrison averaged six points and led all players with 9.7 rebounds this weekend.
