Pfister Falls In Semifinals at Racquet Club Collegiate

MIDLAND, Texas - Texas Tech's Raphael Pfister fell in the semifinals of the men's singles draw at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational on Sunday.
Texas' Daniel Whitehead, the tournament's No. 4 seed, pulled past Pfister, 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the finals. Whitehead then defeated Texas teammate Soren Hess-Olesen to claim the tournament title.
Pfister went 4-1 at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational.
"Pfister started slow, but Whitehead played a good match," said Texas Tech head coach Tim Siegel. "Overall, it was a good tournament for Pfister and all of our guys that competed here."
Texas Tech returns to action this weekend at University of Denver Invitational.
