- Tonight's attendance of 10,678 is the largest crowd of the year. It is also the largest Texas Tech crowd since the Red Raiders hosted Texas (12,481) on Feb. 20, 2010. For the season, Texas Tech is averaging 9,394 fans a game. Last year, the Red Raiders averaged 8,513 fans a game.
- Tonight's starting lineup was DeShon Minnis, Javarez Willis, Jaye Crockett, Jordan Tolbert and Robert Lewandowski. It is the fifth different starting lineup for the Red Raiders this season. It was DeShon Minnis and Jaye Crockett's first start of the season.
- Jordan Tolbert recorded his fourth consecutive 20-point game and fifth 20-point game of the season, with his 27-point performance against CSU-Bakersfield. The 27 points ties his career high he set at TCU on Dec. 6. He is one of only two Texas Tech players to record five 20-point games as a freshman, with the other being John Roberson, who had seven during the 2007-08 season. Tolbert is the first Red Raider to have four straight 20-point games since Jarrius Jackson rattled off four straight 20-point games for Tech in 2006.
- Jordan Tolbert ranks first among freshmen in the Big 12 in scoring (15.8 ppg) and second in rebound (6.5 rpg). He is fifth overall in the league in scoring and eighth in rebounding.
- Javarez Willis tied a career high with four three pointers against CSU-Bakersfield. Willis connected on 4-of-6 from the 3-point line and finished 16 points. The four treys tied the mark set against Georgia Southern on Nov. 23, 2010. His 16 points is the second most he has ever scored in a game.
- DeShon Minnis recorded his first career start against CSU-Bakersfield and also notched a career-high five assists.
- For the first time this year, 11 different Red Raiders saw action in the game.
- Robert Lewandowski notched his third straight double-digit scoring effort against CSU-Bakersfield and fourth of the year. Lewandowski had 16 against Grambling State, 10 at Oral Roberts and 10 against Bakersfield. For the season, Lewandowski is averaging 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds.
