- Jordan Tolbert recorded his fourth career 20-point game and his third nine rebound performance. He is only the second Red Raider in the Big 12 era to record four 20 point games as a freshman. John Roberson has seven 20 point games his freshman season (2007-08). Tolbert leads the Red Raiders in scoring (14.7 ppg) and rebounds (6.5 rpg).
- There are currently seven freshmen on the roster. For the first time this year, five freshmen where on the floor at the same time. At the 18-minute mark in the second half, starters Jordan Tolbert, Luke Adams and Kevin Wagner were joined on the floor by DeShon Minnis and Clark Lammert.
- Robert Lewandowski recorded his 24th career double digit scoring performance. He also pulled down six rebounds for the fifth time in the last six outings.
