Texas Tech Travels to Washington on Saturday

LUBBOCK, TX - The Texas Tech Red Raiders travel to Seattle, Washington, for Saturday's Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series game with the Washington Huskies in a 3:00 p.m. tip (Central) on the Fox Sports Network.
FSN will broadcast complete coverage of the game. Kevin Calabro will deliver the play-by-play, and Marques Johnson will provide the game analysis.
The Huskies (4-2), ranked No. 23 in the latest AP Poll and No. 22 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, opened their season with wins over McNeese State, Eastern Washington, and against Virginia in their first game in the Maui Invitational. Washington dropped their next two games in Maui to Kentucky and Michigan State before defeating Long Beach State at home on Nov. 30, 102-75.
After six games, Washington has averaged 93.7 points per game while allowing their opponents 70.7 points per game. The Huskies have five players averaging double figures for the season. Isaiah Thomas leads his squad with 14.8 points per game. Matt Bryan-Amaning is second with 14.3 points per outing, and he is their top rebounder with 6.7 rebounds per game. Justin Holiday follows with 12.3 points per contest. Abdul Gaddy adds 11.3 points per game, and C.J. Wilcox chips in 10.7 points per game.
The Red Raiders (5-3) defeated Oral Roberts on Nov. 30, 86-82. Mike Singletary was the leading scorer and top rebounder in the game with 29 points and 13 rebounds. Robert Lewandowski tallied 17 points. John Roberson scored 16 points, and Brad Reese added 12 points.
Texas Tech, after eight games, is averaging 79.5 points per contest and allowing opponents to post 75.1 points per outing. They have five players averaging double figures for the season. John Roberson leads the squad with 13.5 points per game. Mike Singletary follows with 12.8 points per game. Robert Lewandowski, third in scoring with 12.3 points per game, is the top rebounder on the team with 6.9 rebounds per outing. Brad Reese adds 11.6 points per game, and David Tairu posts 11.5 points per game.
Washington holds a 5-3 edge in the series since the teams first met on December 30, 1967. Last season, Texas Tech won in overtime, 99-92. Washington's Quincy Pondexter led all scorers with 31 points. John Roberson paced the Red Raiders with 25 points.
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action against the Washington Huskies along with analyst and former Red Raider, Andy Ellis, on the Texas Tech Sports Network flagship radio station Double T 104.3. The broadcast will be available on SIRIUS XM - Channel 90.
When the Red Raiders return to the United Spirit Arena on Wednesday, December 8, against TCU, Texas Tech Athletics is offering 300 All You Can Eat (AYCE)seats to the men's basketball game. For only $17, fans get a ticket to the game plus all the soda, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and pretzels they can eat.
Only 300 seats are allotted for this special promotion in sections 109 and 110. Tickets must be ordered in advance since the offer will not be available at the ticket window on game day. A separate voucher will be printed with the ticket redeemable for an All You Can Eat wristband at the Black Angus concession stand in the northeast corner of the arena, directly behind AYCE sections 109 and 110. Food and drink will be available pre-game through halftime.
