- With her 12 kills, Amanda Dowdy passed Philister Sang (2005-06) for eighth on the Tech career kills list. The junior now has 978 kills over her career. Dowdy also moved into ninth on the career attempts chart as her 38 swings in the match pushed her 2,697 over her career, passing Kiley Lyons (2003-06).
- Tech's five service aces were the most since recording nine against Kansas on Oct. 2. The total is the second-most by the Red Raiders this season.
- Aubree Piper finished with double-digit kills for the fourth time this season. The freshman had not been in double-digits since recording 13 against Colorado on Oct. 13. Her 30 attempts marked a new career high.
- On top of her eight digs in the match, Jackie Vincent also posted two service aces, matching her career high set against New Orleans last year.
- Tech's second-set victory was only its fourth against the Longhorns since 2003. The Raiders dropped to 9-70-2 all-time against Texas in a series that dates back to 1975.
