
Red Raiders Head to Waco for Baylor Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas - The first official fall tournament begins this weekend for the Texas Tech men's tennis team as it travels to Waco, Texas, to compete in the HEB Baylor Intercollegiate Invitational Sept. 26-Sept. 28.
The Red Raiders will have eight players participating in one of the toughest tournaments Tech will compete in this fall - seniors Michael Breler, Milos Kustudija, Christian Rojmar and James Wilson; sophomores David Gonzalez and Joe Hattrup and freshmen Raony Carvalho and Gonzalo Escobar.
The eighth annual HEB Baylor Intercollegiate Invitational will feature 22 players ranked in the top 50, including three in the top 10, in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) preseason rankings from 19 schools - Air Force, Arkansas, Baylor, Fresno State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Nevada, New Mexico State, Oklahoma State, Portland, Rice, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas-Arlington, Texas-San Antonio, Texas Tech, Tulsa and Wichita State.
The tournament consists of two 64-player singles draws - Flight A and B, as well as a 32-team doubles draw - Flight A and B. There will be a consolation flight for A singles.
