
Main Draw for Lubbock Challenger Begins Monday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Four Texas Tech men's tennis players will compete in the main draw of the $50,000 Lubbock Challenger that is set to begin Monday at Tech's McLeod Tennis Center.
Sinisa Markovic will be Tech's only player in the single's portion of the tournament as the senior will face Greg Ouellette, who was the former No. 1 player at Florida, in Monday's fourth match after the 11 a.m. start.
The Red Raiders will have both their doubles teams competing in the main draw with freshman Raony Carvalho and senior Christian Rojmar taking on the No. 3 duo in the draw, Alberto Francis and Nicholas Monroe, at noon.
Markovic and fellow senior Michael Breler will face Stephen Amritraj and Michael McClune later in the day. The day's feature match will pit the world's No. 99-ranked singles player, John Isner, against Lester Cook.
Both Breler and Carvalho fell in the final round of singles qualifying Sunday.
