Red Raiders Face Bearkats on Monday

After their opening win on Friday night against the Saint Francis (PA) Red Flash, the Red Raiders host the Bearkats of Sam Houston State from Huntsville, Texas on Monday at 7 PM.
Overall, Texas Tech leads the series, 6-2. The Red Raiders lead the series in Lubbock 5-1. Each team has won a game in Huntsville. Last season, Sam Houston State edged the Red Raiders in Huntsville, 56-54.
Monday's Red Raider game will be televised on the Texas Tech Television Network (TTTN). Dave Shore will call the play-by-play. John Harris will provide the game analysis. In Lubbock, KAMC-TV (ABC) will provide coverage of the game. The satellite coordinates for the game are AMC 16 - Transponder K23.
The 2008-2009 Red Raiders under Coach Pat Knight in his first full season as head coach feature six new players and nine returnees on their 15-man roster. There are five seniors (Rogdrick Craig, Michael Prince, Esmir Rizvic, Damir Suljagic, and Alan Voskuil), three juniors (Darko Cohadarevic, Trevor Cook, and Nick Okorie), four sophomores (Wally Dunn, John Roberson, D'walyn Roberts, and Mike Singletary) and three freshmen (Tyree Graham, Robert Lewandowski, and Corbin Ray).
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with analyst Corky Oglesby on the Texas Tech Sports Network local station KKAM-AM 1340.
Be sure to watch The Pat Knight Show on Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM and again at 10:30 PM on KAMC-TV (ABC). The initial show debuts on Sunday, November 16.
On Monday, November 17 at 1:30 PM, FOX Sports Regional Networks will feature Texas Tech in their College Hoops Preview. The program includes one-on-one interviews with Pat Knight, who breaks down his team's strengths and weaknesses; in-depth analysis by Fox Sports Southwest college basketball analyst Jim Haller; comprehensive 2008-2009 season outlooks; and player profiles. Emily Jones, Ric Renner, and John Rhadigan are the featured hosts for the show. The program will air again on Wednesday, November 19 at 7:30 PM on FOX Sports Southwest.
The Red Raiders are back in action on Thursday, November 20 for their 7:00 PM game against the Tigers of East Central University from Ada, Oklahoma. This is the first round game of the Lubbock Regional in the Legends Classic sponsored by The Gazelle Group. The second round of the Legends Classic will feature Texas Tech and the Eastern Kentucky Colonels at 1:00 PM (CT) on Saturday, November 22. Neither of these games is scheduled for television by The Gazelle Group.
