Red Raiders to Play in Midland Racquet Club Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas - After sending four players to the ITA All-American Championships earlier this week, the Texas Tech men's tennis team will have four other players competing in the Midland Racquet Club Invitational in Midland, Texas, Oct. 10-12.
Seniors Michael Breler and Milos Kustudija and sophomores David Gonzalez and Joe Hattrup will be representing the Red Raiders in Midland.
The field will include players from schools such as Boise State, Illinois, SMU and Texas A&M, just to name a few.
On the year, Breler posts a 5-1 singles record after winning the Flight A consolation bracket at the HEB Baylor Invitational in September. Breler is 0-1 in doubles play with Hattrup. Kustudija is 0-2 after competing at the HEB Baylor Invite and 0-1 in doubles with teammate James Wilson. Gonzalez went 1-1 at Baylor, his only tournament thus far this year, and was 0-1 in doubles as he teamed with Gonzalo Escobar, while Hattrup lost both his singles matches in Waco.
After the Midland Racquet Club Invitational, Tech will play in the ITA Regionals in College Station, Texas, Oct. 25-28.
