NCAA Singles Championship Pairings Announced

Lubbock, Texas - No. 56 Adrian Prpic will play in the opening round of 64 at the NCAA Singles Championships, in Palo Alto, Calif., Wednesday, May 24. Prpic has been paired against No. 61 Joseph Jung of Alabama in the opening round of play. Match time has been set for 12 p.m.
Prpic compiled a singles record of 14-14 and a doubles record of 11-12 during the 2006 season. After playing at No. 6 and No. 7 in 2005, Prpic moved up to the No.1 spot in singles. He led a squad the consisted of three freshmen playing in the top six. The Red Raiders went 13-11 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
The Alabama Crimson Tide finished 14-13 and 5-8 in the SEC. No. 61 Jung compiled a singles record of 20-16 and a doubles record of 8-20.
