LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Alesha Robertson scored 19 points to help lead Texas Tech to a 63-44 victory over Furman on Thursday night.
The Lady Raiders (9-4) had their biggest lead with five minutes left in the game when Chesley Dabbs hit a jumper to push Tech to a 56-40 lead.
Furman (5-6) used a 9-3 run early in the second half to whittle its deficit to 40-35 but then scored only five points in the next 11 minutes.
Patrice Edwards got a career-high 12 rebounds for Tech. Her previous high of eight came in mid-November.
Chrissy Phelps scored 15 points and Melissa Liebschwager added 10 for the Lady Paladins.
Tech used an 18-6 run, including 3-pointers by Raquel Christian and Brooke Baughman, to go ahead 29-18 with 6:37 left in the first half. Tech led 34-24 at the half.
