Aloha!
Today was another game day. We woke up and ate our pre-game meal at a restaurant called Cheese Burger Waikiki. We all had breakfast since we played an early game today (11 a.m. local time).
After our pre-game meal, we went back to the hotel to get ready for the game. We played Denver today. It wasn't pretty, but we came away with a win. I was very excited for this win because it means that we get to play UCLA tomorrow. Since I am from Los Angeles, I know a lot of the girls on the team so it should be fun to play them.
After the game, I went to the International Market Place with Teddy (Griffin), Jordan (Murphree), Tiny (Henderson), Tawanna (Flowers) and Darrice (Griffin). I bought some shirts and souvenirs. We had to hurry back though and so that we could get dressed and take pictures for our team Christmas card. After the pictures, which we took in front of different places at the hotel, we loaded the bus. The bus took us to the dock so we could get on a ship for a dinner cruise.
At first, it didn't seem like the cruise would be very exciting, but when everyone started dancing it was really fun. They had Polynesian dancers who performed a few of their native dances and after they finished, everyone joined in to dance.
I just got back from the cruise and now we're about to watch film and get ready for UCLA.
Tonight was really our last night in Honolulu as we leave tomorrow night after our game. We all have had such a great time while we have been here and appreciate all the people who came to support us. We have great fans here and back home.
We look forward to playing at home on Wednesday against Tulane and we hope to see you there.
